My friend Melinda's dad, Jim, was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago. A rarity for men, and terribly frightening, we know this enemy primarily attacks women. Most of us know someone who has had to fight for their life and many of us have been touched by the life of someone that has lost the battle. It defined a passion within Melinda to "Walk for the Cure". This year will be her 5th year walking to raise money to fight this dreadful disease. These are some of the pictures from her walk in Seattle last year. I am honored to support her with this year's upcoming fundraiser as she breaks out her walking shoes to help FIND A CURE.
The title of this posting is what you read on the bumper sticker that Melinda created last year. Under the slogan reads: Early detection saves lifes ~ How smart are you? Wait 'till you see her slogan this year!!
